In view of stabilising gas prices on European market in January, Grupa Azoty updates its price lists for fertilizer products
Given a stabilisation of natural gas prices on the European market seen in January, despite strong year-on-year increases in the prices of other fertilizer production inputs, including electricity, coal, phosphate rock and potassium chloride, the Grupa Azoty Group has decided to lower its prices of fertilizer products with effect from February 1st 2023.

First edition of Grupa Azoty START programme
Ten applications have been selected for PLN 20,000 grants and twenty-three applications – for PLN 7,500 grants in the first edition of the Grupa Azoty START programme. Financial support of over PLN 370,000 in total will go to 33 entities in six provinces.

Grupa Azoty’s Kędzierzyn-based subsidiary officially opens new Research and Development Centre
Grupa Azoty ZAK’s Research and Development Centre has officially launched its operations in Kędzierzyn-Koźle. The project worth PLN 39m will significantly enhance the research and development capabilities of the company and the entire Grupa Azoty Group. The opening of the Research and Development Centre is an important part of the Grupa Azoty Group’s strategy that aims to provide high-quality new and improved products and preserve a long-term competitive advantage. EU funding was obtained for the project.

Grupa Azoty supports sports activities for children and teenagers
The conclusion of up to fifty agreements for a total amount of up to PLN 500,000 is the main objective of the Grupa Azoty START Programme, under which companies of the Grupa Azoty Group are to engage with schools or sports institutions to support them in the provision of training for children and teenagers aged 5 to 19.

Grupa Azoty Group’s third-quarter 2022 financial results driven by unprecedented rise in commodity prices
In the third quarter of 2022, the Grupa Azoty Group’s financial results were driven primarily by the impacts of Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine and an unprecedented rise in prices of natural gas as the key feedstock used in fertilizer production. These factors led to a temporary curtailment in production on some of the Grupa Azoty Group companies’ units in Tarnów, Puławy and Kędzierzyn-Koźle.

Grupa Azoty ZAK resumes fertilizer production at full capacity
On October 21st 2022, the Management Board of Grupa Azoty ZAK S.A. of Kędzierzyn-Koźle decided to scale up the operation of the Fertilizer Production Unit to full available capacity.
